Sixty tales of wisdom, beauty, and strength told through photographs, film, and audio showcased as a beautiful Fine Art Gallery Exhibition in Knoxville.
We invite women aged 60+ to our studio to tell their own story and redefine what sixty looks like in 2020. We are looking for all ethnicities to be represented. So, sign up and invite your friends to do the same. You will get to experience a fabulous photoshoot experience at Taylor-Roman photography. When was the last time you were photographed? Meet Dana, for example, who at 60 is doing photography as a career. Her photoshoot was a celebration of turning sixty and getting to do life on her terms: she fought bravely and won the battle against breast cancer. She now gets to enjoy seeing her grandchildren grow and do what she always had a passion for: photography. What will you celebrate?
Or meet Elaine. She just turned sixty. On her personal blog Restricted Vision, Unburdened Sight, read about how she documents her life since losing her ability to see through her left eye rendering her legally blind. She believes that “sometimes the things you can’t see help you see more clearly!”. On her most recent post she shares what she got out of a session at our studio and how she is ready to take on the next decade in her life with renewed strength and much joy.
Or meet Cathy, who is currently leading a trip to Egypt in search of the Sacred Feminine with women from around the globe. In a past life she was a flight attendant and loved riding horses. She has been through several losses which have let her to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment and be present. When she is home, she enjoys playing tennis, taking her granddaughter to equestrian lessons, and selling Real Estate in Knoxville. While she came for an updated headshot, we also got to play and create a stunning fine art piece!

Whether you feel invisible, empowered, or somewhere in between, I want you to know that you are amazing and that your story is important. Wardrobe Styling
As part of your consultation we’ll talk about how you want to be photographed. We’ll help you choose the outfits from your closet. And you can also take advantage of our studio wardrobe the day of your session.
Hair & Makeup Styling
The day of your photoshoot, you simply show up. One of our hair stylists will style you. Whether you decide to come with some makeup on or with a fresh face, our professional makeup artists will ensure your makeup is photo-ready. A $250 value.
Interview
The most important part of this project is getting to know you and telling your story. One of our friendly team members will film you while they ask you some questions about you and what you want to celebrate with this session.
Guided Photoshoot
Saray's job is to find your best angles and guide you through a series of expressions until she captures your personality. She wants to tell your story through beautiful photos that you will gladly share all over your social media and gift to family members.
Multiple Outfit Changes
You’ll be with Saray for a while and that allows for several outfit changes. Saray has found over the years that there is something liberating about putting on a different outfit that allows your confidence to come through. Let’s have fun!
Immediate Image Reveal
One of our team members will show you the images right after your session. You will be able to select the image that will hang in the gallery exhibition. While no additional purchase is necessary, if you want to buy additional portraits, you can apply the $500 paid to participate toward any collection or additional wall art piece.
Framed Fine Art Print
You will receive a 24″ enlargement valued at $1500 for participating in this campaign. It’s a fine art print beautifully matted and classically framed for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
